Happy Friday! I had to show these lovely heels today!! I found them by accident while searching for the designer of some rose stem heels, I had seen some time ago. Well, these shoes made by Mai Lamore took my breath away! How about the rose stem heel is made from 18 karat gold, so you know you’d be real angry if they broke. Who would you take them to be fixed anyway??? A jeweler?? If I owned a pair, I doubt I would ever wear them, as they are such an architectural piece. And they look too delicate to put a foot in there anyway. But, if I did wear them, I don’t think anyone could talk to me, as I would be the hotstepper of the town! hahaaha!

How beautiful is this dress?!?! A.H. got me addicted to Saks Fifth Avenue ever since she started to send me links in the middle of the day at work! And all we’d do is drool! One day we will be earning top dollar so we can splurge on such luxuries from time to time. But A.H. is one person I don’t think it’s a good idea to shop with. Some time ago, heels came in only 2-3 styles. Everything was kept plain and simple with maybe one or two twists here and there! But now, designers are taking heels to another level….and I am loving all of it!!! Read the rest of this article »

I’m a big fan of color….if you haven’t realized already. My drawers and closets are filled with bright colors…I just can’t resist them for anything! I already have my eye on a new set of dishes that are bright oranges and greens! Can’t wait! Living in New York makes it hard at times to wear color. Especially during winter…I’m still looking for a lovely blue coat that will lift my spirits during the drab months. But I do have to say that I’ve had a new appreciation for black since moving here…BUT it’s bright colors all the way! Read the rest of this article »
