Come on Spring!

skirtEveryone will say they have the best mother in the world! But, honestly, I have the greatest mother in the world....no, UNIVERSE!!!! My Dad was in town this weekend, and he brought me a little goodie from my Mum. She has such great taste and always knows what I'd want/need (Mother's instinct I guess). Well, she read my mind this year when she got me this wrap skirt, made by Caribbean designer Meiling.

I have always wanted a wrap skirt and never found one anywhere really...one that I loved at least. This particular skirt with all it's glorious fabric and fullness, reminds me of Prada's new full, bold print skirts! I love it so much. I can wear it on my hip or my waist! And what got me excited the most is the ribbon detail at the bottom. I am a lover of patterns and mixing them together, so this just made my day with the mixture of the floral and the stripe!!! I can't wait to put it on this spring with my gold Bridget sandals and a simple white tee! Come on warm weather, come on! Thank you so so much Mum!

*Meiling is one of my fav. Caribbean designers, and she is such an inspiration to me! I don't think she has a website (at least I haven't found one) but you can check out one of her collections here.
