I heart embellishments!

24/06/2008

Don't we all love sandals that are embellished, have intriguing details, exotic skins (the list could go on)??? Well I sure do. Why? Because if you don't feel like putting on a pair of heels for a night on the town, then you can always put on a beautiful pair of sandals that will not only dress up your outfit but also, keep you in absolute comfort!

If I could buy all of the above sandals, I would (and then I'd get frost bite by November seeing that my closet would be filled with sandals!). What upset me was the fact that two are now surprisingly gone with the wind! But that doesn't stop me from talking about them!

My favorite pair is the Poetic Licence....those two lovely gems on the metallic gold strap are calling my name. The stones are at a good size too, so if those were on one's feet, no one would even notice the gold strap. They are simply elegant! The Tapeet sandal is also lovely. Though, not as shiny and vibrant as the others...they are interesting because of their subdued tones. I don't know how good they would look on my skin tone...but I know if I saw someone with them...I would be envious.

The Wanted Cleo are unusual. Only that word can describe them. Yeah yeah I know, you think I picked them out due to their color! hahahah! I kinda did, but they also look different from the usual sandals we see. And the Sam Eldeman did an interesting take on the thong sandal. I love how the two colors intertwine each other. If I was to buy one of these sandals I would probably get the Sam and the Poetic! And the silver ones with the beautiful pattern created from small cutouts are a dream! We all know I love patterns and texture, so these Vince Camuto sandals will definitely add some twinkle to those toes. Enjoy!

I'm so glad that sandals are in right now and that you can get away with them at night, too. Not only are they easier on my feet, but then I don't tower over everyone :) I'm all about embellishments. I had to "make" my own wedding shoes a few years ago because I couldn't find anything flat and cute. So I added a couple of gorgeous brooches to a pair of sandals and voila!
