...to a really cool blog! When I first started blogging, I was 'bout it, 'bout it. I came home everyday, went straight to google reader, read what the 20+ blogs I followed wrote about, and clicked on that star to save the things I thought were awesome. Then after about 2 months, I got tired. It wasn't laziness...trust me. It was seeing 2,000 unread items in my box after taking 2 days of vacation, that made my brain feel overwhelmed.  So I cut my list of  blogs down to the ones that I felt I would honestly read everyday, and the ones that got my heart and creative mind pumping. We all know my awesome bandelle is on that list, as well as ruby press, kris's color stripes and a few others. But last year I added a pretty cool one to the list...a little blog called Johnnie Quest, created by my friend John-Matthew.

Now, we all know that I love love love Jamaica, and I try to go home as much as possible, despite the weeks worth of homesickness after each visit. John's site basically takes us on explorations around the island, either with his friends or by himself. This guy is either running marathons, shooting paint pellets, visiting lighthouses or simply planning the next amazing adventure. His very descriptive writing will have you laughing, and ready to jump on a plane to go wherever he has been. My eyes usually turn green with envy while I read it, but each post is so wonderful, I find myself always going back, waiting for the next adventure to begin.

So whether you're a Jamaican like myself or someone who wants to visit the island, I say go and check this one out. For the Jamaicans, I assure you, that little itch to go home will begin immediately and for the non-jamaicans, you will definitely want to experience what our super cool island has to offer outside of your hotel.
