I am alia michèle orane, a pretty cool jamaican who now lives in new york. I studied graphic design with a minor in fibers. right before I graduated, I realized i didn't want to be in front of a computer 24/7, for the rest of my life. I've always loved fashion, but making clothes was never my thing. I prefer the little things that make clothes look better! So, I decided to design handbags! and now I design my own line on the side, and also for a small company here in New York.
The Site
A blog was all an idea for me, but my aL got it up and running as a surprise... so now I have no excuses.
I want this site to be about all the things I love, enjoy, dream about, and spend too much money on. so postings will mainly be about:
Graphic Design: I still get excited about GD books, macs, tiny details in fonts, logos, ads etc (only the GD nerds will understand).
Fashion: Great clothes, styling great clothes, designers who rock, lovely accessories, great stores, bargains, shoes (mmmmm), and trends I like and trends I don't like (and there are many I just detest).
The little things that I love: Home goodies, stationery, books, other blogs, art.
Bags, bags, bags and more bags: They are my life after all:)
